Divorce is the termination of the contract of marriage and essentially of the matrimonial partnership of a couple, chosen by the spouses in case of continuous disputes and complete and prolonged disagreement between them. Divorce may be either a consensual divorce or a divorce by litigation.
Consensual divorce is a faster and cheaper legal procedure. However, it requires the agreement of both parties to consensual resolution of all disputes between them.
Adversarial divorce involves two ways of dissolving the marriage. The first way involves the dissolution of the marriage due to strong shocking events that occurred during the marital life and make it impossible for the spouses to continue living together. The second type concerns the dissolution of the marriage on the grounds of a two-year separation.
